After driving all over the Gold Coast, we finally found a block of land that we would like to call our own. It is situated at Ormeau Ridge, a new Stocklands Estate situated just North of Coomera. The block is 743m2 with a narrow front which made our house choices slightly more complicated as we wanted to leave room for side access and a reasonable yard for the kids.
We signed the contract on our block on 10/12/11 and settled on the 09/02/12.
After visiting many display villages we decided that the Metricon Como 21 ticked all of the boxes – narrow front, main bedroom at the rear, open plan, and so far within our budget!!!
Meeting with the sales consultant, Naz, at Ormeau Ridge we finalised our plan, making some changes to the original plan – extended the study making it into a Media room, added on a Butler’s Pantry and turned the pantry around making a Walk in Linen. Receiving the final costing and drawings we signed the contract 13/02/12.
