Goodbye SS...

Unfortunatly last week we recieved a phone call from our wonderful SS David informing us that he will no longer be our SS.  This was followed up with a letter from Metricon telling us 'that due to the amount of homes being constructed by Metricon it is sometimes necessary to redefine boundaries for each of their Site managers'.  Really disappointed as David was  excellent, lets hope our new SS is just as good. 

We have a slab!!!

Sorry about the late update...but yes we have a slab. 
Waking up to an overcast, dismal Friday morning, I was very surprised to see all of the action at the block.



Returning to the block 4 or so hours later - after a little bit of 'Retail Therapy' , I was surprised to see the concreters removing all of the barriers from around the outside of the slab. 

So exciting...it is starting to look like a house.  Reality bites though - just received our first invoice.
