Dulux Red Box

Hooray, it has finally arrived.....the glass splashback has been installed. 

Now all we are missing is the Kitchen appliances and carpet. 

Apparently the 'big' boss (from Metricon) is walking through the house next Tuesday, then we will get our chance to walk through with the SS and mark everything (already on our list) with little 'dots'.

Bring it on!!!!

PCI update

We met our SS at the house this afternoon and had a quick tour through the house.  He informed us that our glass splashback is expected any day, the cleaners are booked in for Tuesday with the floor and carpet to start on Wednesday.  His boss will go through the house the following Tuesday and then we will be able to get a PCI date.  He was really honest and admitted that we will possibly will not be in before next year - the house will be fully completed but with Metricon shutting down for Christmas mid December, he could not guarantee that all the paperwork would be completed to submit to the bank in time. 
Oh well...it is out of our hands.
